Entering Switzerland
Before entering Switzerland…
Please make sure you have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months and a valid visa if your nationality requires one.
For certain nationalities, a biometric passport can exempt you of requesting a visa.

Insurance
The organizing committee cannot accept any responsibility for accidents, losses and damages which occur to luggage and/or personal belongings.
Participants and accompanying persons are advised to obtain travel, medical, personal accident and luggage insurance in their home country prior to departure.
Transfer to/from the airport to CICG and hotels in Geneva:
Geneva airport located 4 kilometers from the city is easily reachable by public transport.
Free hotel shuttles:
Several Swiss hotels offer free shuttle from Geneva Airport to your hotel and back.

Taxi
Available at the taxi stand situated in front
of the airport terminal. Maximum 4 passengers. Average CHF 50 per trip.
A taxi ride to the CICG or to the hotels takes approximatively 20 minutes.
Train
By train, it takes 8 minutes from the airport to Cornavin central railway station. Trains leave every 15 to 20 minutes (every 12 minutes during rush hour).

Bus
City buses connect the airport with central Geneva and Cornavin railway station in approximately 15 minutes.
Buses leave every 9 to 15 minutes in front of the airport terminal.
Pick up a free ticket for public transport valid 90 minutes, from the ticket machine in the baggage arrival area inside the airport before you pass through customs into the arrival hall.

Bus # 10:
Airport – Gare Cornavin – Bel-Air – Place des Eaux-Vives – Rive
